TOURSPECWRX
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 27, 2026
TOURSPECWRX builds, fits, and repairs custom golf clubs in West Hills and the greater Los Angeles area. This policy explains what tourspecwrx.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
We collect three things: what you type into our contact form, statistics about how the site is used, and — only if you buy a towel — whatever Shopify needs to process that order. We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising pixels. We do not ask for your phone number.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
The form on our contact page asks for your name, your email address, and your message. Nothing else is required, and there is no phone field. You choose what to put in the message.
That submission is sent to HubSpot, the customer relationship tool we use to receive and answer inquiries. Along with your three fields, the submission includes the page address you sent it from and the page title.
We do not load HubSpot’s visitor-tracking script anywhere on this site. Our form checks whether a HubSpot tracking cookie already exists in your browser and includes it if so, but because we never run that tracking script, this site does not create one.
If HubSpot cannot be reached, the page instead opens your own email application with the message ready to send. In that case nothing is submitted to HubSpot at all — you are simply sending us an email.
When you browse the site
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-9E030Q964D). It records the pages you view, your general region, your device and browser type, and how you arrived. It sets cookies so repeat visits can be told apart. Google does not report full IP addresses to us.
Beyond page views, we record a small number of specific actions so we can tell which pages actually help golfers:
- Clicking an email link — we log that a
mailto:link was clicked and which one it was. The address logged is ours, not yours. - Sending a contact form successfully — logged as a lead. We record only that it happened and on which page, never the contents of your message.
- Clicking a buy button, and opening the cart on the Gear page.
None of these events carry your name, your email address, or anything you typed.
When you visit the Gear page
That page loads a Shopify Buy Button from our Shopify store so the Ultimate Caddy Towel can be purchased. Shopify sets its own cookies. The buttons are drawn inside our page, but the cart and the entire checkout are handled by Shopify — including payment. We never see or store your card details. Shopify’s privacy policy governs that part of your visit.
Automatically, by our host
The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard web-server records of requests, as every web host does.
Fonts
Our fonts are served from our own site rather than a third-party font service, so browsing does not report your visit to a font provider.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We run no advertising pixels — no Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, or X tracking tags.
- We do not require an account or a password.
- We do not ask for your phone number, and the site publishes none.
- We do not collect payment information on this site.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Why we collect it
Your contact-form information is used for one purpose: to answer you, and — if you become a customer — to keep a record of the work done on your clubs. Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
Who else receives it
- HubSpot — contact form submissions and customer records.
- Google Analytics — site usage statistics and the events listed above.
- Shopify — towel orders, cart, and payment, on the Gear page only.
- Netlify — website hosting and server records.
Each has its own privacy policy. We do not pass your information to anyone else, and we do not sell it.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
California law requires us to tell you how this site responds to Do Not Track signals.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. There is no industry-agreed standard for how a site should react to them, and we have not built any handling for them. Google Analytics continues to measure your visit regardless of those settings.
You can still stop the measurement: block or delete cookies in your browser, or use a browser or extension that blocks Google Analytics. The site works normally either way — the analytics simply stop counting you.
We do not permit any third party to collect personal information about your online activities across other websites through this site.
How long we keep it
Contact inquiries and customer records are kept for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can look up what was built for your clubs. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention setting, which is currently Google’s default period. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
Your choices and your rights
Anyone, anywhere. Email us to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will do it. You do not need to cite a law, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents. California’s consumer privacy law, the CCPA, applies to businesses that meet thresholds set by the statute. Where and when the CCPA applies to TOURSPECWRX, we will honor the rights it gives you — to know what personal information we have collected, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.
We offer those same core rights to anyone who asks, whether or not the law requires it. And because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of.
